Pitbull Daycare Reunion show @ White Rabbit
What a great show on Friday, December 7, 2012, at the White Rabbit. Got to check out Chant, Pigweed, Bigwood, and Pitbull Daycare. Some other bands that played were Minister Fiend, Bind Torture Kill, and Souless Affection. Check out the event on the San Antonio Current Pitbull Daycare Reunion Show for the promotion of the show.
Bigwood was on the scene as well, they played in the back room. Finally got me a Bigwood tshirt. Phucken kickass! Thanks Bigwood for a great night. You guys always bring out some great music and full of energy!
We can't forget a great night without some good old buddies! The supporters of the live music scene in San Anto!
Chant killed it with those drums and lights, a great phucken show, water on the drums, drumming on trashcans, making some awesome industrial sounds. Check Chant out on the web for upcoming shows!
Check ya'll out next time in Making A Scene in San Anto! Making A Scene!

Lower Class Brats show @ the Korova Milk Bar
2012 has been a great year, but one of my favorite shows was when Pinata Protest, the Atrocities, the Atom Age, and the Lower Class Brats all performed at the Korova Milk Bar. Making A Scene! Texas Oi!
PUNKROCKALYPSE NOW @ Night Rocker Live 2012
What a great night it was on Saturday, December 22, 2012, at Night Rocker live. The fellow punks in the scene traveling from Chicago and the Valley near Brownsville to perform for a night of puro punk Oi! Los Babosos del Valle hooked me up with a CD of their songs, and the Atrocities hooked me up with a patch and a CD as well. I was waiting for Sad Plant to come out and play but I think they couldn't make it or something. Next time Jerry! Sorry had to leave early the last time at the Thirsty Camel, would have loved to check you guys out. Thanks to Sue Sin for organizing this wonderful event for the punk rock community. I hope she enjoyed the tequila shot I hooked her up with that night. Got to network with Los Babosos del Valle that night and I seriously hope they come down for some more shows in San Anto like the Code 88's come down from Del Rio, Texas, all the time in San Anto. Here is a group photo of us, I'm on the left next to Ryan. Making A Scene!

Punkfest 2013 "31st Annual Punkfest"
Who's ready for some Punkfest? Ya'll remember those good old dayz at the DMZ and the Cameo Theater? Well, this is the 31st Annual Punkfest according to Tony Chainsawww. I was actually at the 1990 Punkfest at the DMZ with my friend Noemi Portillo (Nick the Chick) and Jackie. I also went to the Cameo Theater the following year to see the Nuklear Fishsticks. Then I went to the DMZ throughout the other years, a few at the Limelight before it was the Limelight or the War Room, and one at Rock Bottom Tattoo Bar. About a year ago, I went to the Ten Eleven for the 2011 Punkfest. It was a great show with Ticket for a Trainwreck, So Unloved, and many others. My friend Jesse De Luna went with me to that Punkfest. I took a few pictures with my cellphone, looking all crappy pics and all. I seriously wish we had some great pics from all the previous shows in San Anto. You know back in the day, a Punkfest was not a Punkfest without some crazy drama. I remember Carl getting in the middle of the pit and lighting a Roman candle (fireworks) and shooting it off to the stage, all phucken crazy and chit. The Skinhead wars versus the Punk Rockers was noticeable back then. I used to call the Leatherettes with studs Los Punk Rockers, or Los Punks. The Skinheads had too many clicks back then such as the American Skinheads, the Front, Section 8 Bootboys, Skinheads Against Racial Prejudice (S.H.A.R.P.s), and the umbrella group Anti-Racist Action (A.R.A.). Today, some of these skinheads are still around but formed new groups, new titles, new names, and the Punk Rockers are still the same, bad ass motherphuckers, so don't phuck with them! If you get a chance, check out the 2013 punkfest at the Ten Eleven on January 1, 2013 starting at 6pm with The Arrogant Teens, Inner City Scum, Gas mask City, True Till Death, So Unloved, The Perturbed, Oi Dollz, and the Semi Automatics. It's only $6 to get in, all ages. It's located at 1011 Avenue B, San Antonio Texas, 78215. If you get lost, please call (210)320-9080 for info. Hope to see ya'll there! Making A Scene!

Check it out ya'll! Planet K presents The Filth & the Flautas! It will be on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Backstage Live. Get your tickets now at Flipside Records, and all the Planet K shops in town. It's only $8 now, but it will be $12 at the door. It is located at 1305 E. Houston street, doors open at 5pm, and the show starts at 6pm. It's an all ages show on 2 stages! The following bands will be playing: Pinata Protest, Sons of Hercules, Lower Class Brats, The Nervebreakers, Hickoids, Ultra, The Next, Clampdown, Heather Go Psycho, and the Texas Buscuit Bombs.

Doomsday Mayan Prophecies
Today is December 21, 2012, and we should all be dead by now but we're not. We are not a doomsday Mayan prophecy gone bad, but we as Americans believed that the World would end. In fact, it never ended, it will mark a new beginning in our chapters, in our lives on December 22, 2012. On Friday, many punk rock shows tonight to mark the Doomsday message. How ironic for us to join in the scene for a bid farewell to our planet Earth with some punk rock. Maybe just in time for Christmas for the holidays with Santa Claus moshing in the pit with his reindeer drinking lonestars in the back of the White Rabbit. VIA bus services in San Anto has a new stretchy bus called the Primo.
In preparation for Doomsday, I completed a bug out bag, washed my sleeping bag, prepared for the End of Days, got enough food and water for 72 hours. Maybe I should have been preparing for some killer punk rock shows tonight. Maybe I need more ammo is what was really on my mind. The year 2012 has been great to me, mostly because of whom we are in San Anto, bunch of skinheads and punk rockers trying to rediscover their past by attending as many shows as we can to bring back old stories, uncover those hidden mysteries, and chant along with old friends with some lonestars.
When myself and Nugget started to Making A Scene in San Anto earlier this year, we didn't think we would take as many pictures as we did. Along the way we met Ryan, and the rest was History. Some of us have been active in documenting the Scene in San Anto but our main purpose is to find old pictures, old flyers, old stories from back in the day. We hope to collaborate with anybody in sharing information. We would have never thought that there would be Wars in the Scene today. We couldn't believe that there were still skinhead groups who are fighting for their territorial turf, whether it be Southside or Northside. That reminds me of the early 1990s of how gangs dominated most of San Antonio and how American Skinheads, Anti-Racist Action, the Front, Skinheads Against Racial Prejudice, all tried to Unite to promote the Scene, and to get rid of all the groups that caused division. ARA was supposed to be that organization but a War consumed the minds of many back then between S.H.A.R.P.s and Section 8 Bootboys.
While I was in the military, I did see lots of drama in the scene but I just wanted to attend shows and go my happy way. The same goes for me today, I just want to document the scene and bring everybody together. This cannot happen if too many groups are still fighting today, thus making it impossible to take pictures without looking behind your back. If people are still fighting today and there will be a bloodshed, I best better get out of the way cause if we don't, we will run straight into a turf war amongst Skinheads and other Crews.
With the year of 2012 almost to an end, lets hope that 2013 is a better year for all while Making A Scene in San Anto!
