Making A Scene is not about booking a venue, a night club, or paying a chit load of money to somebody who is going to rip you off in the profits, it's about having a great time with friends & family, especially when they graduate High School, and they are the ones performing for us.  In the heart of the Westside of San Anto, like the DMZ days, Punk Rock came to El Mero Hueso de San Anto, with heart & soul for Los Punk Rawkers de San Anto. If Society "rejects" us for being to Punk Rock, or too many rules to follow to produce a punk rawk show, then there will always be other doors that will open for us. Some 24 years ago, I went to a Punk Rock backyard party that was with Innocent Victims, Hydrolic Sno-Men, and Scrotum Nosedive off of S. Hackberry & Fair Ave. in the Southeast side of San Anto. It was phucken amazing back then, the life in music, the attitude, the puro pinche Oi! in your face. Today, it is coming back, in the backyards, in the streets, wherever it may be, punk rawk is here to stay. Oi!
